Dissection Techniques
Dissection techniques are used to observe and study the structure and function of the components of a specimen (e.g. an animal or plant). The techniques involve carefully and precisely separating the different components to gain a better understanding of the specimen's anatomy. Dissection techniques are highly significant in various scientific fields, from understanding of anatomy to exploration of the physical properties of living and non-living organisms. In addition, dissection techniques are also used not just for examining specimens but also for the purpose of educational teaching and training. The techniques can be utilized in areas such as biology, zoology, medicine, botany and agronomy. Dissection techniques are thus pivotal to gaining knowledge and understanding of the structures, components and properties of living and non-living organisms.
