Heart Failure
Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to effectively pump blood around the body. It is a common and potentially life-threatening condition, with increasing prevalence in many countries. Heart failure is usually caused by a combination of lifestyle factors, such as smoking, physical inactivity, and eating an unhealthy diet, as well as medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or coronary artery disease. Treatment for heart failure includes lifestyle changes, such as exercising and eating a healthy diet, medications, hospitalization, and in some cases, surgery. It is important to diagnose and manage heart failure as early as possible, as it can cause irreversible damage to the heart. Early diagnosis and treatment can also reduce the risk of complications and improve the quality of life for those who suffer from the condition.
