The severity of these symptoms vary from person to person and can range from mild to very severe. Movement disorders can be caused by a variety of neurological diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, and Tourette Syndrome. Treatment for these disorders is typically tailored to the individual and may include physical therapy, medications, and surgical interventions. Improving the quality of life for individuals with movement disorders is of paramount importance, and research is continuously being conducted to find new ways to help patients manage the effects of their respective conditions.
