Overview

Climate change is a global phenomenon with far-reaching effects on our planet and its inhabitants. It is caused by the increased concentrations of CO2 and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, released primarily by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, and deforestation. This is leading to changes in global temperatures, rising sea levels, changes in weather patterns, extreme weather events, and loss of biodiversity. Climate change poses a serious threat to human health and livelihoods, as well as to the natural environment. Exploring, implementing, and funding various adaptation and mitigation measures are necessary to reduce the overall impacts of climate change. Additionally, a global transition towards cleaner, renewable sources of energy is essential to prevent further warming of the climate in the future.
