Global Health
Global Health can be defined as the study, research, and practice of improving health and achieving equity in health outcomes across the world's population. This field of study encompasses a range of disciplines, including epidemiology, public health, medicine, nursing, healthcare management, and environmental health. The ultimate goal of global health is to improve the health and well-being of individuals and populations worldwide. This includes addressing a range of issues, such as infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, mental health, environmental health, and health systems strengthening. To achieve this goal, global health professionals work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including governments, non-governmental organizations, international agencies, and local communities, to develop and implement effective policies, programs, and interventions that address the root causes of health inequalities. In recent years, global health has gained greater prominence on the international agenda, as the world has become increasingly interconnected, and issues such as climate change, migration, and urbanization have emerged as significant challenges to global health. The International Journal of Global Health is a critical forum for publishing research and analysis on a broad range of global health issues. By providing a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions, the journal plays a key role in advancing the field of global health, and in contributing to the achievement of global health goals.
