Angle-closure Glaucoma
Angle-closure glaucoma is a serious eye condition in which the iris blocks the drainage angle of the eye, preventing the drainage of fluid and leading to increased pressure in the eye. This increased pressure can lead to pain, blurred vision, sudden loss of vision, and even permanent blindness if not treated. Angle-closure glaucoma is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness and it is important to be aware of the risk factors and to get timely diagnosis and treatment to prevent vision loss. Early diagnosis and treatment of angle-closure glaucoma can help to preserve vision and prevent further damage.
