General Practitioner
A general practitioner (GP) is a primary care physician who provides basic health care services to patients of all ages. GPs provide diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care services for a wide range of medical conditions, from minor cases to more serious, chronic diseases. They are also often involved in managing chronic diseases, providing mental health services, and advising on preventive healthcare. GPs are essential for coordinating care among different medical specialists and for providing continuity of care for their patients. They are an integral part of the health care system, making primary care accessible and leading to better health outcomes overall.
