Coronaviruses

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The recent outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has highlighted the importance of understanding and researching these viruses. The International Journal of Coronaviruses is dedicated to publishing high-quality research on all aspects of coronaviruses. This includes but is not limited to the virus structure and replication, the pathogenesis and immune response, the diagnosis and treatment, and the epidemiology and surveillance of coronaviruses. Through the publication of original research papers, reviews, and commentaries, the journal aims to provide a forum for the dissemination of scientific knowledge on coronaviruses. The research published in this journal is crucial not only for understanding the mechanisms of coronavirus infection but also for the development of effective treatments and prevention strategies. Given the global impact of COVID-19, the journal is committed to publishing research related to this disease, including studies on the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment, and prevention of COVID-19. In summary, the International Journal of Coronaviruses plays a vital role in advancing our understanding of coronaviruses and in providing scientific knowledge that can inform policy and practice in the management of these viruses.
