Coronavirus and Social Distancing
The ongoing pandemic caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) has taken the world by storm, affecting almost every aspect of social, economic, and political life worldwide. With no definitive sign of a permanent cure or vaccine for the virus, the most effective way to prevent the infection is by practicing social distancing. Social distancing is a concept that has proven to be effective in reducing the spread of coronavirus. It involves maintaining a physical distance of at least six feet from others, staying at home if possible, and avoiding large gatherings of people. When combined with other preventive measures such as wearing a mask, washing hands, and regularly sanitizing surfaces, social distancing can help slow the spread of the virus. The International Journal of Coronaviruses is committed to providing the latest information and research findings on the prevention and management of coronavirus. In this regard, we recognize the importance of social distancing as a way of mitigating the effects of the pandemic, both on health and society as a whole. We encourage everyone, including researchers and medical practitioners, to follow the guidelines and advice of public health organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on how to practice effective social distancing measures. In conclusion, social distancing has become a common phrase and practice in the current times of coronavirus, and it will continue to play a critical role in mitigating the spread of the virus. The International Journal of Coronaviruses will continue to prioritize research and education on the importance of social distancing in the fight against coronavirus.
