Traditional Medicine
Traditional medicine is a system of health care that origins from folk remedies, customs and beliefs. It is an ancient practice that includes, but not limited to, herbal remedies, Ayurveda, and traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional medicine is widely used in countries all around the world, either alone or in combination with modern medicine. It can be used to treat a wide range of health conditions, from pain management to mental health issues. Traditional medicine has been studied for its potential to provide safe and effective treatments due to its long-term use and thorough research. Despite its wide usage, traditional medicine is still understudied and requires more research and evaluation of its effectiveness and safety. As more evidence is gathered, traditional medicine will become more available and accepted in the medical community.
