Health Coaching
Health coaching is a lifestyle management program which combines evidence-based health promotion and behavior change theories, to empower people in setting and achieving their health and wellness goals. Health coaches help individuals identify and address any possible barriers to achieving their health goals and work with them to develop personalized strategies to sustain healthy behaviors over time. By helping individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices, health coaching has been associated with improved nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and quality of life outcomes. Health coaching is an important component of disease prevention and management, as well as promoting health, wellbeing and self-efficacy.
