Overview

Craniosacral therapy is a healing technique used to reduce tension and stress in the body. It is based on the concept that the bones of the skull, the sacrum, and the spine are connected to each other and the body’s organs, and when these are out of alignment, this can lead to chronic pain and tension. The therapist uses gentle and slow pressure to release these blockages and restore alignment and balance in the body. This therapy is believed to be beneficial in treating a variety of physical and emotional ailments, such as headaches, migraines, neck and back pain, sinusitis, TMJ disorders, chronic fatigue and stress-related illnesses. It is also thought to benefit the nervous system and improve overall well-being and relaxation.
