Personalized Chemotherapy

Personalized chemotherapy, also known as precision medicine, is a form of cancer treatment that is tailored to the individual patient. It involves the use of drugs and molecular testing to predict which treatments will be most effective in treating a particular person’s cancer. By performing molecular tests on a tumor sample, doctors can identify which drugs are likely to work best for that particular individual based on the genetic makeup of their tumor. This means that treatments can be more precisely targeted and tailored to the patient, providing better overall outcomes and fewer side effects. Personalized chemotherapy is a powerful tool in fighting cancer, helping to improve patient outcomes and reduce the overall cost of care.
