L929 Cells
L929 cells are fibroblast-like mouse cells used in scientific research that are derived from embryonic mouse connective tissue. These cells are extremely useful in medical research due to their robust and predictable growth behaviour, making them an ideal choice for many types of in-vitro studies. They are commonly used to study the effects of treatments and compounds on cell viability, proliferation, morphology and metabolism. Furthermore, L929 cells can also be used to study the effects of physical factors such as temperature, humidity, and toxins on cells. Their significance lies in the ability to study the effects of drugs, treatments, and other factors without endangering human or animal health.
