Overview
Ht29 cells are a type of human cell line derived from colon cancer. They are important in biomedical research due to their ability to rapidly replicate and form a monolayer of cells in cultures. Furthermore, they are used to identify the molecular and genetic changes that occur in certain diseases such as colorectal cancer. Additionally, Ht29 cells can be used to study the effects of drugs on cancer cells, aiding in the development of novel treatments. Thus, they are a critical tool in biomedical research and drug discovery.
