Cell Lines
Cell lines are cells that have been derived from multicellular organisms and continuously cultured in the laboratory from a single cell. They are invaluable tools used by scientists to understand the underlying biology of diseases and to develop novel therapeutic approaches. For example, cell lines can be used to model genetic disorders, to study the action of drugs and toxins, and to produce vaccines and other biological products. Due to the widespread use of cell lines in the research, they are an essential part of modern biomedical research and development.
