Cell Disruption
Cell disruption is a process used to open cells and release intracellular materials. Its primary use is to extract DNA, RNA, and proteins from a variety of sources, including both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Cell disruption is an important component of bioprocessing, as it allows for the study of the inner workings of cells, as well as various biochemical reactions. Cell disruption can be used to optimize the growth of cells and to analyze the metabolic activities of cells. Additionally, cell disruption is commonly used in the production of pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics.
