Cell Binding Assay
A cell binding assay is a laboratory technique used to measure the ability of a molecule or substance to interact and bind with a cell. It is a powerful tool in biotechnology and medical research, as it can be used to investigate the interactions between cells in different environments or during different stages of development, as well as to identify potential new drugs and therapeutic agents. By measuring the binding ability of a particular molecule or substance to cells, researchers can learn about the biological and physiological effects of the molecule on the cells and the surrounding environment. Additionally, cell binding assays are useful for studying the interactions between cell-surface proteins, helping researchers to gain a better understanding of how cells communicate with each other and how different molecules affect the behaviour of cells.
