Bone Grafting
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone in an area of the body. It helps to promote new bone growth in the graft area and can be used to treat many conditions like fractures, joint injuries, spinal problems, reconstructive surgeries, and dental procedures. Bone grafts can be made from bone taken from other areas of the body, from cadaveric donors, or from animal sources. This procedure is significant for its ability to provide pain relief and repair of damaged bones, as well as improve aesthetic appearance and function. Bone grafts are now commonly used to repair large defects and reconstruct bones for a variety of medical and dental procedures.
