Bone Fracture
A bone fracture is a medical condition where a bone has been broken or cracked into two or more pieces. The bone can be broken in many different ways, including a simple crack, a crushed bone, or a completely shattered bone. Bone fractures can occur due to direct or indirect force, such as from a fall, a car accident, or a sports-related injury. The severity of the fracture depends on the amount of force that has been applied and the location of the fracture. Treatment options can range from simple immobilization with a cast or splint, to surgical repair of the bone. Bone fractures are an important condition to treat properly as incorrect treatment can lead to long-term damage or disability.
