Community Pharmacy
Community pharmacy refers to a pharmacy that is located in a community or neighbourhood setting and provides pharmaceutical services to the local population. These services may include providing prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, vaccinations, health screenings, and health and wellness advice. As an integral part of the healthcare system, community pharmacies play an important role in improving public health and wellbeing by providing quality patient care and education. By offering comprehensive services and advice, community pharmacies help to promote drug safety and adherence to medication, prevent hospitalizations due to medication errors and non-adherence, and ultimately improve health outcomes.
