Marine Eecology
Marine Ecology is the study of the relationship between organisms and the environment in which they live in the marine environment. It is a multi-disciplinary field with a focus on understanding the structure, function and dynamics of marine ecosystems and their ability to support life. Through this field, we can understand and predict the effects of human activities such as fisheries, coastal development, and climate change on marine species and their habitats. Marine Ecology plays a crucial role in helping to maintain a healthy marine environment, sustain healthy and diverse marine species, and ultimately provide society with ecosystem services.
