Fishery Science

Fishery science is the study of aquatic organisms and the environments in which they live, as well as their utilization as a resource. It involves the understanding of the biology and ecology of fish, invertebrates, and other aquatic organisms, and the economic and social importance of fisheries. Fishery science plays an important role in sustainable resource management, conservation, and the maintenance of healthy aquatic ecosystems. It is a significant factor in the optimal utilization of fisheries resources and in the maintenance of healthy aquatic ecosystems. Fishery science is used to develop management plans, assess the sustainability of fisheries, and aid in the conservation of aquatic species. It is also important for the development of aquaculture, the commercial production of aquatic organisms for human consumption.
