Fish Culture
Fish culture is a field of aquaculture dedicated to the propagation or farming of fish for use in food or other recreational purposes. It involves the use of various aquatic organisms, including algae, zooplankton and fish, to sustain the growth and production of juvenile and adult fish. Fish culture plays a critical role in providing a reliable source of fish for the sustenance of fishermen and the wider fishing industry. It also helps conserve fish populations and boost marine biodiversity, while providing a sustainable method of harvesting fish and other food sources. Fish culture is also becoming increasingly important as a means of recreational fishing, providing recreational anglers with access to larger and more diverse fish populations.
