Finfish Aquaculture

Finfish aquaculture is a form of sustainable seafood production. It involves the farming of finfish, such as salmon, tuna, and other species of marine fish, in a controlled environment. Finfish aquaculture enables a reliable source of seafood, reduces fishing pressure on wild stocks, and provides economic benefits to coastal communities. It also increases productivity by allowing for the production of high-value fish species in areas with limited resources and access to the ocean. Finfish aquaculture provides a wide variety of products, from fresh and smoked fish to canned and frozen fillets. By utilizing sustainable practices, it reduces environmental impacts while maximizing profits and the availability of seafood.
