Overview

Antigen Presentation is the process by which cells present antigens to the immune system to trigger an immune response. It is an important part of the body’s defence against infection and other diseases – antigen presentation helps the body identify foreign substances and mount an effective response. It is also crucial for immunotherapies, as it enables the body to recognise a particular cancer cell and mount a targeted immune response. Antigen Presentation holds great potential in the treatment of cancer and other diseases and represents one of the most promising areas of modern medical research.
