Overview
Ball A medicine ball is a weighted ball used for strength and conditioning exercises. Typically made of rubber and filled with sand, a medicine ball can range in size from as small as 4 pounds to as large as 30 pounds. Medicine balls are used to increase core strength, balance, and coordination, and can also be used to improve agility, speed, stamina, and endurance. Medicine ball exercises are an effective way to improve overall strength and muscular development, and can also be used to help injured athletes recover from injuries.
