Overview

Adult immunization refers to vaccinations that are recommended for adults as part of their routine health maintenance. These vaccinations offer protection from a wide range of diseases, from the common flu to potentially deadly diseases such as meningitis, hepatitis B, and HPV. Immunization helps to protect individuals from diseases and also helps to prevent the spread of these diseases to those around them. Therefore, adult immunization is an important part of public health and has a significant role in reducing the incidence of preventable diseases. It is especially important for people to make sure that they are up to date on their immunizations in order to protect themselves, as well as their families and communities.
