Duodenum

The duodenum is the first part of the small intestine and is located between the stomach and the jejunum. It is a critical part of the digestive system and absorbs many of the nutrients released from food during digestion. The duodenum also produces important enzymes and hormones which regulate the digestive process. Duodenum health is essential for overall well-being, as it ensures proper digestion of food and optimal health. A healthy duodenum helps prevent digestive problems such as constipation, ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. It also plays a role in maintaining healthy blood glucose levels and aids in the absorption of essential vitamins and minerals from food.
