Mutation Detection

Mutation detection is the process of finding genetic changes in a person’s DNA or RNA, which can cause diseases or increase the risk of health problems. It is used to identify genetic variants that may be associated with risk factors for diseases, such as cancer. By detecting mutations, scientists can develop better treatments and ensure that patients get the best care possible. Mutation detection also plays a role in diagnostics, as it can reveal the cause of a person’s medical condition. In addition, it can be used to uncover inherited genetic traits, as well as to study the evolution of organisms by pinpointing changes in their genetic makeup.
