Internalization Assay
An internalization assay is a laboratory test used to measure and track the transport of molecules from the cell's extracellular environment into the cell itself. Internalization assays play a key role in the understanding of signal transduction and other cellular processes, and are invaluable for drug development, infection studies, metabolic pathway studies and more. By tracking the movement of molecules into a cell, researchers can gain important information about the health and function of the cell and their relationship to the extracellular environment. Additionally, internalization assays can provide insight into how drugs interact with cells, allowing for the development of more effective treatments.
