Genetically Modified Crops

Genetically modified crops are plants that have been genetically altered using molecular techniques. These types of crops have a wide range of benefits, including increased resistance to disease and drought, enhanced nutrition, and improved yield. GM crops also have the potential to reduce the amount of pesticides and fertilizers needed for agricultural production. GM crops are used in a variety of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, and biofuels. The safety and effectiveness of GM crops have been extensively studied and tested, and their global acceptance and use is growing.
