Computational Biology

Computational biology is an interdisciplinary field of science that uses computer-based techniques to understand and simulate biological processes. It combines advanced mathematics, computer science, and biochemistry to study biological systems and understand the complexity of biological processes. Computational biology is widely used in the research and development of new drugs, diagnostics, and treatments for diseases, as well as in the analysis of genetic and protein data to gain insight into evolutionary relationships and the function of proteins. Additionally, computational biology has the potential to identify new therapeutic targets and diagnose diseases more accurately. Computational biology is revolutionizing the life sciences by providing researchers with powerful tools to understand how cells, tissues, and organs work together to maintain health.
