Cho Cells
Cho cells, or Chinese hamster ovary cells, are mammalian cells used for research and biotechnology applications. Cho cells are widely utilized as a host for various expression systems (including recombinant protein production) due to their high productivity and consistency. Cho cells can also be used to study a wide range of biological functions, and their use in drug discovery and development is growing as scientists are able to study drug efficacy and safety in a human relevant system. As such, Cho cells are an invaluable tool for biomedical research and development, and their importance in the advancement of biotechnology and drug discovery is undeniable.
