Campylobacter Jejuni

Campylobacter jejuni is a Gram-negative rod-shaped bacterium found in poultry and other food sources. It is an important cause of both intestinal and non-intestinal infections in humans, which can lead to diarrhea and other serious health complications. Campylobacter jejuni is one of the most common bacterial causes of foodborne illness globally and is an important food safety concern in both industrialized and developing countries.
