Overview
Testis, also known as testicles, are the male reproductive organs located in the scrotum. They produce sperms and a hormone called testosterone, which is responsible for male sexual characteristics and reproductive health. Testis can be detected through proper physical examination and medical tests. Abnormal testis size, structure, and function can be associated with infertility, testicular cancer and other health issues. Proper clinical care is important to ensure the proper functioning of testis.
