Reproductive Control Agents

Reproductive Control Agents (RCAs) are substances used to modify the reproductive capacity of human or animal populations. These agents may act on the endocrine system, influencing the production of hormones, or interrupt the reproductive process at different stages. RCAs are used to decrease fertility and population size in order to prevent overpopulation or to control the spread of certain diseases, such as the Zika virus.
