Overview

Female Infertility is a condition in which a woman is unable to become pregnant despite engaging in unprotected intercourse for an extended period of time. It is estimated that around 10-15% of couples of reproductive age face infertility issues. A number of medical and lifestyle issues can contribute to female infertility, such as hormonal imbalances, ovarian dysfunction, tubal abnormalities, endometriosis, stress, and poor diet. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential for improving chances of conception and carrying a successful pregnancy. Treatments for female infertility vary depending on the cause, but may include medications, lifestyle changes, surgery, or assisted reproductive technologies.
