Overview

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical practice which involves the insertion of fine needles into areas of the body to help relieve medical ailments. It has been increasingly used in recent years to help improve fertility, both in male and female infertility. Acupuncture is believed to help to regulate hormones and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. This may help to improve egg quality, ovulation and overall sperm count. Clinical studies have demonstrated that acupuncture may be beneficial in improving pregnancy rates in patients undergoing infertility treatment. In addition, studies have shown that acupuncture may reduce stress which may also contribute to improved fertility outcomes. Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment for those looking to improve fertility.
