Overview

Stem cell transplantation is a clinical procedure used to replace defective or diseased cells with healthy ones. It is a potential therapeutic option for several diseases such as cancers and blood disorders, as these healthy stem cells can effectively multiply in the body and produce healthy cells. It is considered to be a promising treatment for various diseases and is currently being studied for its potential to regenerate damaged cells and tissues in other medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, heart disease and spinal cord injuries. A stem cell transplant can provide an individual with the opportunity to live a healthier and fuller life.
