Cell Potency
Cell potency is the ability of a single cell to differentiate into various types of tissue or specialized cells. It is an important factor in regenerative medicine and in the development of new cell-based therapies. Cells with high potency have the potential to differentiate into various types of cells, including muscle cells, neurons and other types of tissue. This ability to become different types of cells makes them very valuable for research and medical treatments, as well as for the development of new therapeutic approaches. High potency cells can be used for cell replacement therapies and for medical treatments such as gene therapy, tissue engineering and stem cell-based therapies. They are also used in the creation of organoids, which can be used to better understand and treat diseases.
