Blastocyst
is Blastocystis is a genus of single-celled organisms that is found in the intestines of many animal species, including humans. It is the most common intestinal parasite in humans, with infections estimated to affect up to one-third of the world's population. While usually asymptomatic, Blastocystis can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea and weight loss. Treatment for Blastocystis is typically done with prescription antifungals or antiparasitic drugs. Diagnosis can be done with a stool sample, which is then examined under a microscope. Proper diagnosis and treatment of Blastocystis infections is essential for preventing gastrointestinal distress and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth. They serve as a sort of internal repair system, dividing essentially without limit to replenish other cells as long as the person or animal is still alive. It can divide and become another type of cell such as a muscle cell.
