Behaviour

al genetics Behavioural genetics is the study of the genetic basis of behaviour, examining how genetic and environmental factors interact to affect behaviour. It seeks to understand why certain behaviours are exhibited, and how these behaviours can be modified. Through research, behavioural genetics has the potential to improve the way people interact with one another and their environment, assisting in the early identification of issues like autism and addiction, as well as identifying simple steps that can be taken to improve physical and mental health. Furthermore, it can provide new insights into social phenomena, such as the way societies form and interact, and also help us to gain a better understanding of why certain behavioural traits are more common in certain populations.
