Nitrogen Recovery

Nitrogen is an essential element for all life on Earth. It is a component of proteins, DNA, and other molecules that allow life to function and grow. Nitrogen recovery is a process that recovers nitrogen from sources such as air or wastewater, for reuse in applications such as fertilizer and biofuels. This helps reduce the need for synthesizing new nitrogen from fossil fuels and makes fertilizer production more efficient. In addition, nitrogen recovery can also reduce the amount of nitrogen discharged into the environment, improving air and water quality. Thus, nitrogen recovery is an important means of improving the sustainability of agriculture and industry and mitigating the harmful effects of nitrogen pollution.
