Luteinizing Hormone

Luteinizing hormone (LH) is a beneficial hormone secreted by the pituitary gland that plays a critical role in reproductive health and fertility. LH helps to control the menstrual cycle by stimulating the production of other hormones and triggering ovulation in women. In men, LH helps in the production of testosterone, which is necessary for sperm production. In both women and men, LH also helps the body use hormones more efficiently. By controlling the reproductive cycle and assisting in hormone action, LH plays an essential role in both fertility and general health.
