Contraceptive Therapy
Contraceptive therapy is an important form of reproductive health care which offers individuals the ability to make informed decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. It is a form of contraception that prevents conception and pregnancy and depending on the method used, can provide protection from and against sexually transmitted diseases. Contraceptive therapy is often an effective way to regulate birth spacing and can help individuals plan for or delay a family. Methods of contraception used in contraceptive therapy include hormonal contraception, intrauterine devices, emergency contraception, barrier methods, and permanent contraception.
