Anti-obesity Drugs

Anti-obesity drugs are medications used to help people reach and maintain a healthy weight. They work by altering existing hormone and neurotransmitter levels in the body, reducing appetite, increasing feelings of fullness, and increasing energy expenditure. When used in conjunction with lifestyle changes such as increased physical activity and healthful eating, anti-obesity drugs can be an effective tool to help people prevent or reduce the risks associated with obesity, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer.
