Biography:
- I earned my B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Panjab University, India. In 2011, I joined the Department of Chemistry at Iowa State University as a Graduate Student.
- I started my Ph.D. program under the guidance of Dr. Edward Yu.
- My research mainly focuses on elucidating the structure-function of membrane proteins contributing significantly to the phenomenon of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria, using X-ray crystallography.
- Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate at Baylor College of Medicine, where I am continuing my research in structural biology of membrane proteins using cryoEM as a tool.
