Nucleic Acid Synthesis
Nucleic acid synthesis is the production of nucleic acid molecules from the components of nucleotides. It is an important process in the formation of new genetic material and plays an important role in the development of genetic engineering. Nucleic acid synthesis is used to make DNA, RNA and in some cases modified nucleic acid molecules for use in research, diagnostics and other applications such as gene therapy. Nucleic acid synthesis is essential for understanding genetic information and manipulating it to create new, improved organisms.
