Direct Sequencing

Direct sequencing is a high-throughput sequencing technique used to rapidly sequence the entire genome of a sample. It is a quick, cost-effective method to profile genetic variations, providing valuable insights into the structure and function of genes, and enables research into the evolution of species. Direct sequencing is commonly used in medical sciences to provide better diagnostic services, assess disease risk and track treatments for personalized care. It is also used in forensics for identification of criminal suspects, in species identification for conservation purposes and environmental studies, and in agricultural genetics for agronomic traits improvement.
